Caroline works from both our Milton Keynes and London offices. She has been practising in Family Law for over 20 years and is a familiar face in the Principle Registry and the Courts in and around London.
Caroline specialises in all aspects of Family law including divorce and separation, finances, Children issues and un-married property disputes.
She is an experienced negotiator both in and out of Court, often resolving matters at an earlier stage than would otherwise have been the case, which avoids delay and additional costs for the client. She has had considerable experience in dealing with the remuneration package for the Police, both how the pensions and Police pay are structured, and has experience of understanding actuarial reports, which can often be misleading and founded on false assumptions. She has acted for Police officers at all levels for over seven years.
Caroline has been a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) for a number of years. You will find her to have a capable and confident approach to your case, which will always be sympathetic. Caroline herself has been through a divorce and understands well the issues that can be involved.
Caroline’s recent work includes:
- Representing a Chief Inspector in contentious financial proceedings where the husband’s solicitors were trying to allege that she would retire after completing 30 years service. If the District Judge had accepted the husbands argument’s then the officer’s pension would have been reduced by a further 30%
- Obtaining an order through the courts for a downward variation of maintenance previously ordered prior to retirement. This led to a saving of £250 per month for the Police officer
- Initiating a round table meeting with the Spouse’s representatives where a clear “stalemate” position had been reached. Through dedicated negotiation a fair financial settlement was achieved which resulted in a cost saving a £3;000.

Caroline obtained her law degree from the University of Buckinghamshire. Having herself been through a divorce she thouroughly understands the issues that can be involved.
