Kirsten is experienced in managing her own caseload in all areas of Matrimonial and Family Law. Kirsten has represented parents and other family members at Court

on numerous occasions on a wide range of Children Act applications as well as injunctions.

Kirsten also has experience in advising clients and managing cases in divorce, finances, child maintenance, co-habitation, domestic violence, unmarried property disputes, special guardianship applications and change of name deeds.

Kirsten prides herself on being extremely approachable and committed to developing a trusting relationship with her clients in order to achieve the optimum results. Whilst Kirsten shows compassion and the ability to empathise with her clients, she is also an experienced advocate in court and ensures that realistic advice is given from the start.

Kirsten's recent work includes:

  • Successfully acting for a parent on a Children Act application for change of residence, orders for the prevention of their children being removed from the jurisdiction and from their care by the other parent and determination of where the child should attend school.
  • Successfully representing a grandmother on an emergency application for residence of her grandson for the immediate protection of his welfare.
  • Successfully resolving contact disputes between parents both outside court and at an early stage when proceedings have been issued.
  • Assisting a non-biological parent in obtaining a contact order whereby the client was informed that he was not the child's natural father after separation.
  • Achieving financial settlements in both divorce and non-marital cases.
  • Acting for a husband in protecting his interest in the former matrimonial home after it had previously been transferred to his wife by deception.
