Professional Profile
Vikram is a solicitor in the Milton Keynes Family and Conveyancing Department. His practice consists of all areas of family law including Divorce, Cohabitation issues and Children matters together with Residential Conveyancing transactions including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership and right to buy. In relation to conveyancing Vikram has acted for lenders and clients alike.
Vikram prides himself on being able to provide clients with a unique and fully supportive service. His combined legal knowledge in both property and family law allows him to be able to deal with both these aspects for clients. This is particularly relevant in divorce and cohabitation cases where property disputes are likely to occur and ultimately enables Vikram to resolve those cases more quickly and cost effectively for the clients.
Vikram will also be driving the firm’s Living Together initiative, intended to protect a client’s best interests when co-habiting or committing to property ownership with a family member, friend or partner.
Graduating with a degree in Law and Business Studies from Solent University Southampton in 1999, Vikram initially gained practical experience by working as a paralegal in a Local Authority, volunteering in a Citizens Advice Bureau and undertaking work experience in a Malaysian Law Firm. Vikram went on to complete his Legal Practice Course in 2003 at the University of Westminster obtaining a commendation.
Vikram trained with Barnes and Partners qualifying in 2006 and since then he worked for LD Law Ltd in Harlow for five years. Alongside this he also has some experience writing for Local Authority in house magazines and local lifestyle magazines.
